Deb Bird, (August 31, 2005) - Found records at IHSAA for Girls State Swimming and Diving programs. There were no girls sectionals before 1975. Also, the season switched around a couple of times - it has been both a fall and a winter sport. There was no information on coaches, nor on results for 1975-76, or 1994-98.
Darrell and Leah Butler (Sept, 2005) - Starting with Deb's information, searched newspaper articles to try to fill in information not available through IHSAA. We had difficulty finding any information between 1979 and 1995.
